ORGANIZATION LOCATION: Phoenix Indian Medical Center, Patient Business Servicers. Position is located in Phoenix, AZ, and supervised through the Supervisory Health System Specialist. The position is responsible for assignment and balance of daily work load among staff to ensure coverage. In addition, generating third party alternate resources claims and tracking insurance claims and payments.This job will close when we have received 25 applications which may be sooner than the closing date.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GS-09:
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Serves as the lead providing guidance, workload coordination, and quality oversight to ensure efficient billing office operations. Track productivity metrics and prepares workload and quality reports for management. Assist with generation of third party alternate resource claims, tracking insurance claims, generating and evaluating billing reports, and ability to research and reference billing policies.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
