IT - Product Owner II

Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ or Biltmore, MD (3 days in office)

Duration: 6 months

Job Description

The main function is to macimize the value of products created by the scrum development team. A typical product owner will streamline the lifecycle of the product through managing the product backlog.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze and breakdown market problems into prioritized, deliverable stories
Manage multiple features at once and ensure work gets delivered in prioritized order.
Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Work closely with development teams to deliver stories that add customer value at a regular cadence.
Be involved with all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment).
Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.

Key responsibilities:
Getting and applying feedback for the tools, understanding any struggles or gaps, going back to the tools team and relaying those complaints and holding them accountable to provide resolutions, prioritizing our backlog of issues, contributing giving the team a life cycle of that tool - own that product Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):
agile/scrum, project management experience, Product Management, Understanding of Observability tools, Data Analysis, Knowledgeable of Incident Management, Jira, Confluence
Flex Skills:
big panda, dynatrace, logscale, splunk, SRE Principles, DevOps & CI/CD, Cloud Technologies
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one s time.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent work experience. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
3-6 years experience required.
